Weimer’s 764 Campground is family owned and operated since 2007. The campground is located on 14.67 acres and is conveniently located from JCT of I-99 & US 22 Exit 28, West 1.3 miles on US 22 to SR 764 N then North 0.3 miles to Carson Valley Road. At the stop light turn left West 0.5 miles to Spencer Creek road turn left, go 0.03 miles on right.
This area is rich in history and fun attractions for the whole family. The historical Horseshoe Curve is only minutes from the campground for all you railroad buffs. Also, not far from our locations, is the Railroaders Memorial Museum. Close by are the Gallitzin Tunnels and The Lemon House Museum. Fort Roberdeau Historical Site is another adventure for many tourists.
There are also many fun adventures for the family including DelGrosso’s Amusement Park and Water Park, Lakemont Park, Indian Caverns, Lincoln Caverns and Whisper Rocks, Slinky Action Zone, Chuck E Cheese and Meadow’s. There are several golf courses including miniature golf for those with this interest.
The Altoona Area is home of the Altoona Curve Minor League Baseball Team which is affiliated with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
There are also many restaurants in this area. Something for everyone. Then there is, of course, the favorite shopping areas conveniently located in Altoona.
